class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The Department of Sociology, Faculty of Arts, University of Jaffna, has actively participated in the MUSTER project since 2024 with the Vice-Chancellor\u2019s approval. Fifteen students divided into three research groups, supervised by senior academics, and completed studies addressing critical regional issues: accessibility challenges faced by persons with war-related disabilities, the role of social organizations in the resettlement of Muslims in Jaffna, and the transmission of folk theatre traditions to younger generations to foster cultural preservation and unity.<\/p><p>In May 2025, these groups organized social cohesion activities across Jaffna District to translate research into action. These included a discussion on disability rights at the university library auditorium, a women\u2019s entrepreneurship exhibition at Osmania College, and a dialogue on sustaining folk drama at the Kayts Divisional Secretariat. These events involved beneficiaries and government stakeholders, strengthening community engagement.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
